Why Did Jesus Come to Earth? (CD Set)
Hebrews 2:14–18 reflects upon the incarnation of the Son of God. The word “incarnation” means “in-fleshing.” It’s the big word we use to describe the
stupendous reality that the Son of God became a man. Earlier the author of Hebrews spoke of the Son of God as God’s final word to the world (1:1–2), the
heir of all things, the One through whom also [God] created the world, the radiance of the glory of God, the exact imprint of His nature, the One who
upholds the universe by the word of His power, who made purification for sins, and then sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (Heb. 1:2–4).
But why did Jesus come to Earth? That’s what we’ll explore in these messages from Hebrews 2:14–18.
