"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20
In Paul’s letter to the Galatians, the apostle expressed a deep concern for the spiritual safety of the believers in Galatia. They had begun to embrace errors and the Gospel of the free gift of grace was being corrupted. Paul exhorts the Galatians to reject these false doctrines and to remember that salvation is achieved entirely by what Christ has done on the cross—our justification is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Eric Alexander reminds us that this message of grace is just as vital for believers today.
