The Apostle Paul said, “whatever is not faith is sin.” For many, faith is just a mystical leap into the dark. True faith, however, is not blind trust, wishful thinking, or a positive attitude. No, it’s an understanding of things hoped for – the conviction of things not seen – and a belief in God’s Word. We see true testaments to that faith through the examples of Noah, Abraham, and Moses. For these men, it meant that when God came to them, they needed to have faith enough to listen. They had a solid, victorious faith given to them by a true God. We need to have such faith.
