Children of God: Adopted into the Father's Love PCRT 2011 Seminars (mp3 Download Set)
Children of God Seminars
“If the love of a father will not make a child delight in him, what will?”
John Owen
Reformed Christians are thoroughly conversant with the language of
justification and sanctification, but adoption seems to have fallen out of our
vocabulary. A lack of awareness of our adoption in Christ only paralyzes a
Christian’s experience of divine grace. It is a Christian’s adoption in Christ
that holds together the categories of justification and sanctification. Adoption
is what a Christian is saved to through faith in Christ, a personal, family
bond of love, life, blessing, and calling. As children of God we have family
priveleges and obligations: to know and embrace these is to enter into the
fullness of vital Christian living.
The 3 messages of Children of God: Adopted into the Fathers Love Seminars include:
• “Children in the Church” by Joel Beeke
• “Male Leadership and Female Ministry in the Church”
by Richard Phillips
• “Practical Considerations for Preaching the Fatherhood of God”
by Steve Lawson

The Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology
is the longest running national Reformed conference. It
was started in 1974 by Dr. James Boice. It exists to glorify
God through a rediscovery of the Church’s great doctrinal
foundations.
